Waking up to reality!

Have you ever told yourself something so often that you believe it's true, only to discover at some point what a fool you've been? I realized this weekend that I had been telling myself that I was trusting God with my future when all the time I wasn't trusting him at all. I would say "Well I know that God has a plan for my future and it's a good one and I trust Him." Only to turn around and demand that God tell me what the plan is. I felt that God couldn't really get me to where I was supposed to be; of course he needed me to do that. How silly and arrogant of me huh? It was one of those things that you realize and wonder how you could possibly have missed it. Ah well now I know and I can rely on God's grace to get me through today and let tomorrow worry about itself yes?
